| Urbanball? |
Urbanball has been created by car October 29, 1999 by Dean ILDEFONSE at the time of a journey between Paris and Rouen in France. The idea of basis was to make a free discipline for the young that would practice it. The essential element was the round ball because there are more of 400 millions of people in the world that play the balls of which more of half are not playing in club and don't wish to play in it. In a way, to create a discipline fun, technique, between the traditional sports of mass and the new sports of slips and especially a free, creative and evolutionary game. A small gesture for a Free world.
It is a mixture of soccer techniques (feet), basketball (hands), dance and acrobatics, the all on a music and with a ball of Urbanball. The goal accomplish some tricks alone or between friends. All parts of your body can be used (feet, hands, arm, knees, head, nape, shoulders,…) and while playing with all elements found in the street or on your body. |
